Bernardo Silva gave City the lead just two minutes into the game, but the Spanish giants responded with an own goal from visiting defender Rúben Dias in the 12th minute and a goal from forward Rodrygo in the 14th minute. The second leg will be played next Wednesday in Manchester. This is the third consecutive meeting between these clubs in the knockout stages of the Champions League.
