): Upon reading about the initial consultant’s study, suggesting that the city needs to revamp its trash and recycling services, I get visions of another horrendous calamity that will burden households with excessive, unnecessary costs. History teaches us to be suspicious of the pricing and performance of any city service, and this study appears to set the stage for adding costs far in excess of the current rates charged by local, for-profit, commercial trash companies.
