I was shocked and disappointed to find in the Sept. 11 print edition of The Post only the slightest acknowledgment of the 22nd anniversary of the terrorist attacks on our country. The attacks changed everything about life in the United States. There was not an editorial, op-ed or essay — just John Kelly’s Metro column about a survivor [“The days and weeks following the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks were a time of national unity that I doubt I will ever see again.
For many of us in this area, because of our professions, these events remain close to our minds and hearts. The 9/11 mantra “Never forget” apparently did not reach The Post.The writer is a retired fire battalion chief and responded to the Pentagon after the 9/11 attacks.I found the Sept. 11 Politics & The Nation article “,” about Donald Trump’s legal proceedings, insulting.
