Survey: What do you think about Katy ISD's new library book policy?

Katy ISD's new book policy is in effect, meaning secondary education parents must now opt-in in order for their children to check out books in both school and classroom libraries. The policy, which was approved at the Sept. 26 board of trustees meeting, requires parents to log into the Katy ISD online portal and sign their child up for access to library books.

If parents do not opt-in, their child won’t be able to check out books from classroom libraries.
