During his junior season, Gasper, who stands at 5-foot-11 and weighs 195 pounds, rushed for 488 yards and 11 touchdowns, averaging 4.9 yards per carry in seven games. He also caught 15 passes for 136 yards and another touchdown. In his sophomore year, he ran for 675 yards and 10 TDs on 4.7 yards per carry in 10 games, and caught 16 passes for 194 yards and a touchdown. His freshman season ended with 300 yards and 2 TDs on 5.
The Gators extended an offer to Gasper in late January and hosted him on campus for the first time in March. During his three-day visit to Gainesville, he familiarised himself with the coaching staff and campus. Gasper is the fifth player to join the Class of 2025, alongside Tallahassee’s James Rickards’ four-star edge Jalen Wiggins, Tampa’s Plant’s four-star running back Waltez Clark, Havana’s Gadsden County’s three-star defensive lineman Jeramiah McCloud, and Atlanta’s Woodward Academy’s three-star wide receiver Josiah Abdullah.
