KUALA LUMPUR: Tan Sri Razarudin Husain and Comm Datuk Seri Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay have been officially appointed as the new Inspector-General of Police (IGP) and Deputy IGP respectively.
Tomorrow marks the commencement of the tenures of Razarudin and Comm Ayob Khan, who will be joining forces to lead their respective roles.
In 1996, he was transferred to the Muar district police headquarters, where he served as an assistant superintendent. Meanwhile, Comm Ayob Khan, 57, who was born on July 27, 1966, in Kota Setar, Kedah, has held several high-profile posts in the police force since starting his career in 1991.
