Free agent running back Derrick Henry agreed to a two-year, $16 million deal with the Ravens, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Jamison Hensley is a reporter covering the Baltimore Ravens for ESPN. Jamison joined ESPN in 2011, covering the AFC North before focusing exclusively on the Ravens beginning in 2013. Jamison won the National Sports Media Association Maryland Sportswriter of the Year award in 2018, and he authored a book titled: Flying High: Stories of the Baltimore Ravens. He was the Ravens beat writer for the Baltimore Sun from 2000-2011.
Bringing in Henry is the Ravens' first major addition in free agency. Before reaching a deal with Henry, the Ravens had six of their free agents sign elsewhere: Edwards , safetyplayers over his eight-year career in Tennessee. Only Eddie George has more rushing yards than Henry's 9,502 over his career. Henry's 90 rushing touchdowns is tied with Hall of Fame running backs Curtis Martin and Eric Dickerson for the 13th most.
