Raven and the gang are coming back for another season.
Disney Channel has ordered a fifth season of “Raven’s Home,” starring Raven-Symoné as Raven Baxter and Isaac Ryan Brown as her son Booker.
The spinoff series will continue to follow the adventures of the somewhat psychic Raven Baxter and her teen son Booker, who has inherited the same gift of catching glimpses of the future. Season five welcomes Rondell Sheridan to the cast, reprising the role of Victor Baxter, Raven’s dad. Also joining the cast are Mykal-Michelle Harris, Felix Avitia and Emmy Liu-Wang. Scott Thomas and Jed Elinoff developed the series and join Symoné as executive producers, along with Anthony C. Hill.
Kathleen Garrett will guest as former First Lady Laura Bush in the upcoming Showtime scripted anthology series “The First Lady.” Garrett will play Laura Lane Welch Bush, First Lady of the United States from 2001 to 2009, who was known for her major initiatives on education and women’s health. The series reframes American history through the lens of the First Ladies Michelle Obama, Betty Ford and Eleanor Roosevelt.
Disney Plus and Disney Channel announced that Johari Washington, Ethan Hutchinson, Eugene Byrd, Kenneisha Thompson and Robert Manning Jr. have joined the season two cast of “The Secrets of Sulphur Springs,” which will premiere Jan. 2022 on Disney Channel and Disney Plus. The second season follows Griffin Campbell, Harper Dunn and Savannah as they discover more mysteries to unravel in the Tremont hotel.
