SHAH ALAM: Ketua Badan Pimpinan Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia Selangor, Datuk Abdul Rashid Asari berjaya mempertahankan kerusi Dewan Undangan Negeri N.44 Selat Klang buat kali kedua berturut-turut.

Beliau yang mewakili Perikatan Nasional menewaskan pesaing terdekatnya daripada Pakatan Harapan-Barisan Nasional , Datuk Mohd. Roslee Abd. Hamid dalam saingan tiga penjuru dengan majoriti 8,325 undi. Abdul Rashid memperoleh 25,143 undi manakala Mohd. Roslee memperoleh 16,818 undi. Manakala calon dari Parti Rakyat Malaysia Datuk Ezam Mohd. Nor memperoleh 742 undi. – UTUSAN
