The Manchester native is currently enjoying the best season of his career, having found the back of the net 27 times for the Red Devils across all competitions so far.
Rashford’s form is seemingly a blessing and a curse for the club, as while his hot-streak has propelled them to their first trophy in six years, it also puts the England international in a position to negotiate a new lucrative salary, something United are said to be reluctant to do following the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Sheikh Jassim are currently the leading candidates to takeover from the Glazer family, but the change in ownership would not be a swift process for whoever the winner turns out to be. The same report claims that the sale of the club may only be completed until during the 2024/25 campaign, meaning that Rashford would be in the final months of his current deal.
Paris Saint-Germain have been public of their interest in the United talisman, though will only make a move if he is available on a free transfer.
