Rascal Flatts were announced as the featured speakers for the 2020 Country Radio Seminar CRS
were announced Tuesday as the featured speakers for the 2020 Country Radio Seminar. The group will speak at the “Rascal Flatts: 20 Years of Country Radio Success” panel Feb. 19 at Nashville’s Omni Hotel.
The event is sponsored by the Country Music Association, and the organization’s CEO Sarah Trahem will conduct an in-depth hour-long Q&A with the trio -- comprised of Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney -- about their 20-year trailblazing journey in the genre. Before the discussion, Rascal Flatts will appear at Opening Ceremonies to reveal the Country Radio Hall of Fame Class of 2020.
“Rascal Flatts’ indelible mark on country music for the past two decades makes this a must-see event for CRS 2020,” Kurt Johnson, Country Radio Broadcasters/CRS board president, said in a press release. “Gary, Jay and Joe Don are among the greatest legends of our genre, and their stories will be riveting.”
