This is one of just 19 E46 M3s in this configuration in North America. Powering the sports car is an S54 3.2-liter naturally aspirated inline-6 rated at 333hp. It has covered just 29,000 miles so far since new. This 2004 BMW M3 might be the perfect E46 and in addition to it having a rare color combination, it’s only covered ~29,000 miles . It’s hardly a surprise then that bidding on it has already reached $99,000, making it more expensive than a brand-new M3.
While that’s quite a discrepancy, the older car has a more visceral character that a new M3 can’t match. Coupled to the 3.2-liter engine is a six-speed manual transmission driving the rear wheels. The Bring a Trailer listing notes the car is fitted with the original 18-inch M double-spoke Style 67 wheels wrapped in 225/45 front and 255/40 rear Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. The exterior looks immaculate and it’s the same story with the cabin.
