Hussle was one of three individuals struck during the shooting. The two other male victims were both listed in serious condition at a local hospital.
Grammy-nominated rapper Nipsey Hussle was killed in a shooting that occurred outside his clothing store in Los Angeles on Sunday afternoon.
According to the LAPD, a male fled the scene outside Hussle's Marathon Clothing Company on Slauson Avenue and remains at large. No other information is known about the shooting or the suspect. Born Ermias Ashgedom, Hussle was a known affiliate of the Rollin 60s Neighborhood Crips, and often referenced his life growing up around the gang in his music.
Hussle is survived by his girlfriend Lauren London and two children. The couple previously took GQ Magazine's couple's quiz, which was posted to Twitter on Thursday.Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James replied to Hussle's tweet with a prayer emoji after news broke that the rapper had been shot, and later tweeted that the news of Hussle's death"hurt."
