Olympic champion and two-time World Cup winner Megan Rapinoe took her final bow in international football after the United States beat South Africa 2-0 in a friendly yesterday in the Soldier Field stadium in Chicago.

With 203 caps and 63 goals for her national team, the veteran played in four World Cups, winning in 2015 and 2019, and helped the US to claim the Olympic gold at the 2012 London Games.
