Rapid Bus chief executive officer Muhammad Yazurin Sallij in a statement today said Rapid Bus passengers decreased by 66 per cent on the whole.

Even though there is significant passenger numbers, Yazurin said Rapid Bus services will still be operating as usual for passengers involved in essential services and who have commute to work throughout the MCO period. Yazurin said Rapid Bus will restructure the frequency of services for Rapid KL, Rapid Penang, Rapid Kuantan, Rapid Manjung, Rapid Kamunting and the BRT Sunway line, in order to reduce the risk of Covid-19 infection on its passengers and staff.

"In the meantime, Rapid Bus will constantly monitor requests and advise customers on any changes,” he said.
