They will not deny Butland a move if an offer of around £15million is tabled – it would represent the second-biggest sale in the club’s history behind Calvin Bassey’s £20million move to Ajax.Gers signed Butland on a free transfer after his contract at Selhurst Park expired in the summer of 2023 – he signed a four-year deal with the Glasgow giants.
Butland has had a superb debut season in Scotland, making 47 appearances across all competitions this season with 23 clean sheets. Rangers boast the best defensive record in the Scottish Premiership having only conceded 16 goals in 29 league matches in 2023-24 – Butland has played every minute of their league campaign.
