Rangers target Abdallah Sima is poised to push for a move away from Brighton after they agreed two big-money forward signings,New manager Fabian Huerzeler is set to take stock of his Seagulls squad when they report for pre-season training this month.
In a recent twist in the future of Sima, Brighton have added to their stock of wide forwards with the signing of Yankuba Minteh from Newcastle, a club-record £33m deal that was announced on Sunday.. Ibrahim Osman has also finalised his move to the Amex Stadium from FC Nordsjaelland and will join up with his new teammates for pre-season.
It is believed Sima, 23, is unlikely to break into Huerzeler’s Brighton squad for the 2024-25 campaign and will therefore push for an exit.The Senegal international spent the 2023-24 campaign on loan at Rangers and the Glasgow giants are keen to sign him on a permanent basis.Sima, who can play on the left and right flanks as well as centre-forward, scored 16 goals and notched two assists for the Gers.
