The “Let’s Go, Dodgers’' chants just grew louder and louder as the visitors went for double digits in the ninth.
The Rangers pitchers walked eight Dodgers and half of them scored Friday night, which is no way to control a game. Alex Speas, the relief arm called up from the minorswhen Texas closed out a sweep of the Rays, could not find the plate Friday while trying to protect a one-run lead in the seventh.
The Dodgers didn’t arrive in Texas with their usual loaded starting pitching, but who needs it when you can put 11 on the board? Two more chances for the Rangers to ignite the crowd and capitalize on that fast start out of the break.
