The Belgian boss has promised a revamp at Auchenhowie to get the players up to speed.
Philippe Clement says he’s planning a major overhaul of Rangers’ training regime after complaining the squad he inherited from Michael Beale is carrying too many crocked stars.
“But in all the places I worked there were not many injuries and availability was above 90 per cent. That’s also one of the things we want to improve. “It’s now a new story. I want to work more individually with players on a physical level because that’s the modern game. It takes a lot of work so we’re starting to organise those things so that I can build the strongest physical team like I did in my other clubs.

“The best way to describe it is this - if you have the best player physically at a high level and the worst player levels below, if you train the same way then the top player doesn’t become any better because he is not challenged, so they will go down. “But one problem goes hand in hand with the other. It’s also maybe the reason that in sudden moments the club has changed manager.”
