Michael Beale admits Ianis Hagi could leave Rangers after dropping him for their Champions League play-off against PSV Eindhoven; Ridvan Yilmaz is also out with Rabbi Matondo and Ben Davies drafted in; Rangers beat the Dutch side at the same stage of qualifying last season
The midfielder impressed at Rangers last season until a hamstring injury ended his season and his loan spell and the manager admits it was disappointing not to hold onto him.
"The agreement was in place before I came in and we stuck to our side of the agreement and quite frustratingly for us Bayern stuck to theirs and did the buyback that they had."He was fantastic for us, I've spoken to him a lot over the summer. He's just come back from a long-term injury and I think it's a great move for him."Rangers beat PSV at the same stage last season to secure a return to the Champions League group stages for the first time in over a decade.
"Right now it's a big opportunity for the club so I'm looking for us to show a really strong footing in the first leg and set up the second leg in Eindhoven. "It will be the sternest test that we'll probably face across the season. They've invested in the squad heavily, really good players."
