Starting pitcher Nathan Eovaldi received “good news” on his groin injury following a checkup with a specialist in New York,Eovaldi does not have a sports hernia injury, which was a concern, and Bochy said that the 34-year-old could be pitching again around the time that he’s eligible to be reinstated from the injured list .Bochy said he’s unsure as of Monday whether or not Eovaldi would need to make a minor league rehab start.
