Rangers activate 2021 first-round selection Jack Leiter from developmental list, will start for Friday on Sunday
In a press release from Double-A Frisco at noon Sunday morning, it was announced that Leiter who had been on the developmental list since July 7 would return to the active roster and start Sunday afternoon’s game against Midland.
have sought to tweak his delivery in order to allow him to better command the strike zone with fastballs. Leiter, 23, has a 5.51 ERA in 15 starts for Frisco this season, which is right in line with where he has been throughout his time as a pro. He has a 5.53 ERA in 37 professional stars and has allowed 5.9 walks per nine innings.
