At issue is an alleged $130,000 hush money payment that Trump's then-lawyer and fixer Michael Cohen wired to porn star Stormy Daniels, also known as Stephanie Gregory Clifford, in the 2016 election homestretch. The payment was intended to keep her quiet about an alleged affair with Trump a decade prior.
