Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay says that he expects star wide receiver Cooper Kupp to play in Week 8 against the Vikings.
The Los Angeles Rams will likely receive major reinforcements for their primetime matchup on Thursday against the Minnesota Vikings. After the Rams' crucial Week 7 win over the Las Vegas Raiders, head coach Sean McVay said that he expects superstar wide receiver Cooper Kupp to play in Week 8.Kupp has missed the last four games due to a high ankle sprain. He was listed as questionable prior to Week 7, but all signs point to Kupp being well enough to play this Thursday night.
The Rams' defense didn't allow a touchdown and forced four turnovers in the win, including a huge interception in the fourth quarter to seal the game. The Rams are now 2-4 and will host one of the best teams in the NFC and NFL, the 5-1 Vikings. The Vikings have been one of the surprise teams thus far and just suffered their first loss of the season on Sunday to the Lions at home. Both teams will be on short rest, and it appears they will each have their star wide receiver on their side.
