The Los Angeles Rams are making a strong playoff push, but Sean McVay says he won't pressure Aaron Donald to come out of retirement.
The Los Angeles Rams are on a similar run to last season, starting slow but now holding first place in the NFC West going into the last three games. Head coach Sean McVay and his staff deserve credit for keeping the team in a position to succeed. Despite Aaron Donald 's retirement last season, there have been discussions about him returning to help the Rams .
McVay, however, feels it would be disrespectful to approach Donald about coming back due to the clarity and finality with which he retired. Donald remains physically fit and keeps up with the team, but McVay respects his decision and doesn't want to disrupt his happiness. Donald is considered one of the best players in both Rams and NFL history, leading the team to a Super Bowl victory in 2022. Adding him to the young defense could significantly improve their chances of a deep playoff run
