Event featuring rides, games, a motorcycle exhibition and more takes place July 28 through July 30 at Ramona Outdoor Community Center
Friday’s events open at 4 p.m. and include the equestrian groups practicing at 6 p.m. Several of the groups offer youth activities, living history and re-enactments. Music performances include Lady Psychiatrist’s Booth at 6 p.m. and Farm Truck at 7:30 p.m., followed by Patrick Howard Trampus.
Saturday’s events include the cornhole tournament at 11 a.m. and the off-road car show, also at 11 a.m. Music performances include Thea The Band at 6 p.m., followed by The Beard & The Bird at 7:30 p.m., with Big Sky Moon following. Sunday will see the motorcycle exhibition, with a pit area where people can talk to the racers. Live music begins at 11 a.m., Jason Winters performs at 3:30 p.m., and Banda Night follows to close out the weekend.
Admission to the fair is free; ride tickets can be purchased online and picked up at Will Call at the fair. Hours are 4 to 11 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Parking passes can be purchased for the day or the whole weekend at. Otherwise, cash is required for parking at $10 per day or $15 unlimited.
The Ramona Country Fair overlaps with the Ramona Junior Fair, which started July 22 and runs through Saturday, also at the Outdoor Community Center. Youths involved in 4-H, FFA and the Grange are competing for blue ribbons, with the event culminating in a livestock auction at 1 p.m. Saturday. For details, visit
