“We want to go in and slash and burn that bureaucracy to help Americans, stimulate the economy and to restore self-governance again,” Ramaswamy said in an“We’re going for the stuff that’s basic common sense that most Americans actually agree on,” Ramaswamy said. “And, I hope we’re going to actually be able to help unite the country by eliminating waste, which is something that all Americans, regardless of partisan affiliation, can get behind.
He pointed to regulations from the Department of the Interior and “slow” permitting requirements as evidence the “administrative state” is the root cause of what he said is “our failure as a country.” The businessman added that he and Musk are “thinking big,” noting the federal government is “broken.”
