Entrepreneur and former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy holds a commanding lead in the race for Ohio governor, according to a poll conducted by WPA Intelligence for the Club for Growth PAC. Ramaswamy secured 57% of the vote among Ohio Republican primary voters, significantly ahead of Attorney General Dave Yost at 26% and Treasurer Robert Sprague at 6%. The poll also indicated that Ramaswamy's support could surge to 67% if former President Donald Trump endorsed him.

The survey found that Ramaswamy wins 70 percent of those who consider themselves very conservative, while Yost captures only 22 percent. The survey also found that if Trump were to endorse Ramaswamy in the primary, his lead could surge by ten points to 67 percent.
