Last week, I wrote an Open Letter to President Ramaphosa and it was published in this newspaper. There was no response. The President did not see the reason to respond to an unimportant citizen. This second letter, Mr President, will tell you why you will not move even when you say “Thuma mina”.

If a parent raises a gifted child and the parent is foolish enough and ignorant and cannot notice the talents of the child, there are two possibilities for the said parent. It is either to foolishly allow the child to wander aimlessly and lose track and be a wreck or the parent may invoke the innate human sense to want to rise and prosper, the urge to dream and to recreate oneself.South Africans need to be in the know if we want to create a prosperous future.
