Ralf Rangnick has been reflecting on his time at Manchester United and has named his one regret 🤔👀
Overall, Rangnick’s time at the club will be seen as a failure, and speaking ahead of his side’s final league game of the season, the outgoing manager reflected on his time at the helm, and revealed his biggest regret.Rangnick said: “Since Atletico we just didn’t find our shape or form again. Before then we had stabilised the team, become more stable defensively. But then we lost confidence and energy.”He added: “It has got to do with confidence, team spirit and togetherness.
Looking ahead, Rangnick will have to balance his work load between his role as Austria’s new manager and his advisory role at the Old Trafford club.Rangnick also revealed that he has spoken to incoming boss, Erik ten Hag and how he could help the new boss. He said: “We spoke about that in detail, we spoke about all the different areas where I could maybe be of help.”
Rangnick’s side will secure Europa League football next season with a win at Selhurst Park against Crystal Palace. Ten Hag will be present at United’s game at Palace, giving him the first chance to assess his players ahead of what is going to be a very busy summer for United as they look to rebuild confidence on and off the pitch.
