Montgomery, Alabama

Rain and storms continue Friday afternoon. Some storms could become severe, capable mainly of damaging wind gusts and large hail. A severe thunderstorm watch continues until 7PM for south Alabama. The storm prediction center also places a slight severe risk across Alabama, south of highway 80. Elsewhere, Friday afternoon remains mainly cloudy with showers.

Clouds and rain linger into this weekend. However, rain coverage looks lower, at least on Saturday. Temperatures may warm into the mid to upper 70s with some sunshine in the sky. Another round of rain moves across our area Sunday. Otherwise, Sunday looks like a mainly cloudy day. Clouds and rain may limit high temperatures to the 60s or low 70s.

Sunshine returns in greater supply as rain departs early next week. However, temperatures turn cooler as spring officially gets underway Tuesday. Temperatures range from the 60s to around 70° Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday afternoon. Temperatures fall into the 40s each night. Clouds increase next Thursday, with another chance for rain next Friday.
