The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Eastern Visayas and Mindanao may experience scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in the next 24 hours because of the oscillation of the intertropical convergence zone .
Meanwhile, rains will become widespread over Northern Mindanao and Visayas due to the formation of a low pressure area along the ITCZ—a region where winds coming from the northeast and southeast converge, triggering thunderstorms and rain showers. Luzon, meanwhile, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated afternoon or evening rain showers and thunderstorms.
The rest of Luzon will have fair weather condition apart from isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.
