Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers may persist in most parts of Luzon and Visayas on Friday, Jan. 6, due to the prevalence of shear line and the northeast monsoon, locally known as “amihan.”
Shear line is particularly bringing cloudy skies with scattered rain showers in Bicol Region, MIMAROPA, Visayas, Caraga, and Quezon. The state weather bureau strongly warned residents of these areas to be alert against possible flooding and landslides that may occur during moderate to at times heavy rains.
