If it rains hard enough and for long enough to wipe out Sunday's game, every game in the Houston Astros-New York Yankees series could be pushed back a day.
One thing for certain — as certain as you can be with weather forecasts — is the temperatures will be in the 50s at game time. The question is: Will it rain hard enough to cause a delay or force a postponement?
Major League Baseball hasn't announced any contingency plans for weather, but it doesn't want teams to play a postseason doubleheader. With no days off scheduled for the rest of the series, that means MLB likely will do all it can to get Sunday night's game in, even if there's a long delay.
