The train carrying eight passengers derailed near Grange-over-sands
A train carrying eight passengers has derailed this morning, causing significant delays to travellers in the north of England.
Commuters across the north are facing delays to services, with a number of routes facing cancellations and delays expected to last until the end of the day. All train services between Barrow-In-Furness and Lancaster and Manchester Airport and Manchester Victoria have been delayed or cancelled in both directions.
