The Las Vegas Raiders take on the Green Bay Packers on Monday Night Football, and Rasul Douglas is a player they cannot overlook.
With the Las Vegas Raiders set to take on the Green Bay Packers on Monday Night Football, the stage is set for two teams trying to find consistency this season.
For the Packers, some improvements need to come on the defensive side. They are allowing the third-most rushing yards in the NFL this season and are dealing with several injuries on that side of the ball. Douglas, 28, was a third-round selection in the 2017 NFL Draft by the Philadelphia Eagles out of West Virginia. He spent a few years there before bouncing around a few rosters, including the Raiders.was signed to the Packers’ practice squad and activated shortly thereafter. He made an impact quickly, recording the game-sealing interception against the Arizona Cardinals. He became a mainstay in the Packers’ lineup for the rest of the season.
In the last three seasons, Douglas has been targeted 157 times and has allowed just 94 completions for 1,016 yards and eight touchdowns. He has earned a 75.9 coverage grade from Pro Football Focus in that time.
