The biggest stars usually appear in prime-time games, but one player coming up big in his first season for the Lions has been rookie defensive back Brian Branch. Branch was a second-round selection in the 2023 NFL Draft for whom the Lions traded up. So far, Branch has been playing like a first-round talent for the Lions’ defense. Coming out of Alabama, Branch played a lot of safety. He has played all over the field in his first few games in Detroit.
