: The Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living will expand the Rahmah MADANI Sales Programme in a targeted manner across public markets with implementation expected to begin this October.
“This initiative aims to expand consumer access, allowing more people to benefit from the programme. It also offers a wider variety of essential goods and provides opportunities for traders in public markets to participate in a targeted manner,” he said. Armizan said the selection of PJRM@Pasar locations will take into account various factors, including areas experiencing significant price increases, supply disruptions caused by weather, high transportation costs and public complaints.
“We are implementing this in the markets based on current needs to ensure that PJRM@Pasar does not cause any market disruptions or distortions,” he said.
