Filthy, neglected and unsafe. Those are the words used to describe the Rahima Moosa Mother and Child Hospital. The health ombudsman released shocking findings following an investigation into the hospital.
JOHANNESBURG - The Health Ombud and the Minister of Health Joe Phaahla released a report on Rahima Moosa Hospital on Tuesday.Makgoba said Gauteng needs to rise its criteria for appointing hospital CEOs.According to Makgoba, Gauteng is the only province where CEOs get suspended,Meanwhile, Ashley Sauls -- the first person to upload videos about the conditions at the onto social media -- said everyone not doing a proper job at the facility must be held accountable.
The Rahima Moosa Mother and Child Hospital is filthy, neglected and unsafe. These are some of the findings of an investigation into the hospital. Health Ombudsman, Malegapuru Makgoba, says the probe confirmed that most allegations are true. Silindelo Masikane reports.
