The Santa Clara County Fire Department said just before 2 p.m. that a structure fire in Campbell was"still very much an active incident and is expected to remain so for some time."Firefighters responded to a raging, four-alarm fire at a vacant three-story commercial building in the Silicon Valley on Friday, officialsThe Santa Clara County Fire Department said that the fire broke out at about 10:40 a.m. inside a building located at Dell Avenue and Kowles Drive in the city of Campbell.
Video footage saw tall flames rising above the building, with the fire pumping out a massive black cloud of smoke that could be seen across the South Bay.Santa Clara County Fire Department "This fire will continue to burn for sometime, and smoke will continue to affect the immediate area and be visible throughout the Bay Area," Fire Captain Justin Stockman toldThe cause of the fire is unknown.
