A new document at Companies House has underlined the coming transition of power at Elland Road from Andrea Radrizzani to 49ers Enterprises as the paperwork goes through its process

Accounts for Elland Road underline the stadium’s shift into the hands of 49ers Enterprises after its takeover of Leeds United earlier this year. Andrea Radrizzani agreed to sell his shares in the club and stadium in June before formal ratification followed in July, cutting his ties to LS11.

The statements were signed off on August 8 of this year by former United director Massimo Marinelli. Along with Radrizzani, 49ers executive Collin Meador and Whites chief executive Angus Kinnear, Marinelli has been one of the directors of Elland Road Limited, the company which owns the ground. One key section reads: “Post year end, the company’s immediate parent, Greenfield Investment Pte Limited, entered into an agreement to sell 100 per cent of its interest in the company to 49ers Enterprises Global Football Group LLC in a transaction that is due to complete after the signing of these financial statements. As of the date of signing these financial statements, the ultimate controlling part remains to be A Radrizzani.
