On Saturday the Radnor’s Boys basketball team accomplished something no team had done since the 60’s - they are now the District 1 Class A Champions.
The team’s season ended in the same championship game last year.
Senior Captain Cooper Mueller scored eleven points and said the way last year ended fueled the team all season. They made a pact when they were younger to stick together, and stuck to it even though some of the players were recruited by other schools. "We love each other. We hang out with each other all the time," said Mueller. "We’re out there eating dinners together. Really being connected with each other got us here."
