A trainee exhibits symptoms of strep throat, reports to the infirmary, and tests positive— but no one informs him of the test result, and instead of being treated with a simple course of antibiotics, his condition grows worse until he contracts a flesh-eating bacterial infection that leaves him without half of his left leg.
