The Radford family were dealt a frustrating blow as mechanical problems ruined a plan half-term escape.
Posting on Instagram stories, the family explained that the motorhome entered limp mode on that journey. A screenshot of a message explained there was an issue with missing clips affecting which meant a rod relating to the engine's boost was no longer there.In the post, the family wrote: "Was supposed to be going away in the motorhome this coming week but driving back from Edinburgh at the weekend and it went into limp mode and this is why.
Patriarch Noel recently spoke of the trouble the family has had in trying to find a suitable new home. Explaining they planned to look at a former farm site next, he said: "I wouldn't say we've given up looking for land to build on. There just doesn't seem to be anything around at all.
