Rachel Zegler's Red Carpet Evolution.
The forecast didn’t call for a storm, but Rachel Zegler brought a shower of jewels when she arrived to a Variety party on Sunday night, which celebrated the brand’s latest New York issue .Styled by Sarah Slutsky Tooley, Zegler wore a dress that was pulled from the Dior Pre-Fall 2024 collection. The shimmering design featured a sheer black, long-sleeved top-layer that was adorned with hundreds of teardrop-shaped jewels and tiny pearls.
This was certainly a more body-baring switch-up from how the dress was originally styled, with the model wearing a black slip dress instead when it was sent down the runway last spring. To complete the look, Zegler rocked a pair of pointy black Jimmy Choo pumps and she carried an inky Small Lady-D Joy Bag, both of which matched the undertones of her ensemble. She kept her jewelry simple, opting for dainty silver earrings that harmonized with the embellishments on her dress.
