After being convinced to wear all black on Valentine's Day as an act of youthful rebellion in eigth grade, Rachel went full on goth and did not look back. Aside from wearing fishnets, black eyeliner and corsetry, she loves metal, gaming, books, TV, and cinema-- especially if it's thought-provoking, sad, or just plain weird-- but she'll settle for basically anything that can be done indoors with the real world firmly locked outside.Rachel has ecclectic tastes.
Today, TV is her lifeblood and she's busy licking her fingers for "The Bear", "Shogun", and "Stranger Things". Meanwhile, she has an uncomfortably potent obsession with the Dragon Age game series, and would be embarassed if you knew how hard she cried at the end of Mass Effect 3.Rachel has worked at film festivals of various stripes, watching almost a thousand films per year in order to bring the best to festival goers. She loves dark, niche, cerebral stories and discussing them at length to anyone who will listen .
