Betfair and Rachael Blackmore launched the fund at Haydock Park for the Betfair Chase with an initial £100,000 donation
Betfair have rounded up the final figure of the Rachael Blackmore Serial Winners Fund to £250,000 as the charity initiative ended at Aintree on Saturday.
Proceeds will be evenly split between the Injured Jockeys Fund and Irish Injured Jockeys. The charity initiative was launched in conjunction with Betfair's 'Serial Winner' documentary series, which focused on Blackmore. Charlotte Booth, Betfair chief commercial officer, said: “The Serial Winners Fund has been a fantastic journey for all of us; Betfair, the IJF, Irish injured jockeys and Rachael. Its been a real team effort from the start, and we’ve all been cheering Rachael on.
