The estimate for the sale of the car at the Silverstone Festival on August 25 is £225,000 - £275,000
A race car from the hotly anticipated Gran Turismo film is set to be auctioned in Northamptonshire. The Nissan GT-R GT3 features in the movie inspired by the true story of Jann Mardenborough, a teenage gamer aspiring to be a racing driver.
"This car is not only central to the film and can be seen in all of the promotional material but also is an important part of the real GT Academy story." "Significantly, the car finished ninth in the Nurburgring 24 hours in 2015; Nissan's best result in recent history." The Silverstone Festival 2023, from August 25 to 27, will provide "the best historic motorsport, incredible music, family entertainment and amazing food all in one weekend".
