Retailer QVC is recalling 1.1 million sets of oven gloves due to a potential burn risk.
announced a recall of 1.1 million sets of oven gloves because they may pose a burn risk to people who wear them., the Temp-tations Oven Gloves fail to provide protection against the heat of an oven, posing a safety risk for those who use the gloves when touching extremely hot surfaces.
The affected gloves were “sold by QVC in single pairs, sets of two and in sets with drying mats” and came in blue, yellow, red colors, as well as in floral and summer shell patterns,They also were sold under the following model numbers: K51459, K76398, K47973, K48879, K85322, K96004, K92603, K308719, K309220, K309388 and K309516.QVC reported 162 instances of insufficient heat protection, with 92 of those reporting minor burn injuries.
