Superman Batman Side by Side
Summary There are few team-ups in comic history as iconic and popular as Batman and Superman. The two spend a huge amount of time together and have saved the world more times than most people can count. It's hard to imagine a more perfect team-up, but Superman admits there's one character who fits him even better than Batman does: Krypto the Superdog.
Superman admits he doesn't need to think or worry around Krypto; all he has to do is trust in the dog and everything turns out okay. He can fully focus on his side of the mission while Krypto deals with whatever is needed at the time. There are a few reasons why this partnership is more perfect than Batman and Superman.

Batman is deeply paranoid, and he's made it clear that he'll take Superman down if necessary.
So, while Batman and Superman are best friends, they still have their disagreements, and their power levels aren't equal. Neither of these are problems with Krypto. Krypto loves Superman unconditionally, and in some interpretations of their character histories, Krypto was the El family dog on Krypton. Krypto is literally the last living thing that Superman has from both his direct family and from Krypton.
